Prior to joining Power Showcase, Inc., Amy was a partner at the New England based law firm of Hinckley, Allen & Snyder LLP, where she practiced general corporate, intellectual property and e-commerce law.  Amy is a frequent author and lecturer on intellectual property and e-commerce legal topics and is a contributing author to several legal treatises includingIntellectual Property Law (MCLE, Inc. 2003) and Entertainment Litigation (New York Bar Association 2007).  Amy was recognized as one of the top 40 professionals under the age of forty by Providence (RI) Business News in 2008 and honored as an “Up and Coming Lawyer” byMassachusetts Lawyer’s Weekly that same year.   She was named a Massachusetts Super Lawyer  in Boston Magazine in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 and a New England Super Lawyer by Rhode Island Monthly in 2009. In addition to practicing law, Amy is an adjunct faculty member at Suffolk University Law School where she teaches a course in Trademark and Unfair Competition Law to upper classmen and LLM candidates .  She earned a B.A. degree from Syracuse University, Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs  and a J.D. (magna cum laude) from Suffolk University Law School where she was the articles editor ofSuffolk University Law School Journal of Trial and Appellate Advocacy.
